ALAN HILLIARD | DESIGNER
Alan was born in Limerick on the west coast of Ireland but spent most of his childhood in the south of England. After returning home to Ireland to complete school, he graduated with an Interior Architecture degree from Sligo IT in 2005 and an Architecture degree from University of Limerick in 2012, where he received the AAI Maurice Craig Award for his final year design project. Before relocating to the bay area he worked on a wide variety of projects with practices including Bucholz McEvoy Architects, Architecture Republic, and the sustainable transport design group 'Limerick Smarter Travel'.
While living in Ireland he loved to travel throughout Europe and now spends much of his time exploring his new home on the west coast. Alan also loves football, rugby, hurling and soccer, playing when he can or heckling other people playing when he can't.
